Marco Leal Oh man!!! A nice little piece of emo/indie/post-rock here!!! Can't really compare them to anyone as they have their own sound. If I ever start or join a band again, definitely will use these guys as inspiration! Looking forward to the release of their new tunes with Take It Back! Zack on lead vocals! Until then, this will do just fine! Thanks to Brandon at indievisionmusic.com for introducing them to me! Favorite track: Fate.

Track Name: Sleep
I'd rather sleep when I'm dead
Than wake up in someone else's shoes
I know that it won't happen
Unless I cause it to

I woke up to the sun again
I know I'll miss another session while I'm sleeping in
But who gives
I'll probably forfeit the win
So get up and follow me
To the door with all my friends

A missed call now and again
If I push another pencil I'm a faded trend
I'll go on
To make a story out of paper skin
To live it instead of wishin that I did

I'd rather sleep when I'm dead
Than wake up in someone else's shoes
I know that it won't happen
Unless I cause it to

Fall asleep
Blood pressure
At comatose
You're going to fall asleep
And just dream

Fall asleep
Or wake up to reality
You're going to fall asleep
And just dream

I'd rather sleep when I'm dead
Than wake up in someone else's shoes
I know that it won't happen
Unless I cause it to

Believe in your religion
Look to fate, luck, or fortitude
But after all is over
You'll miss it because you're pressing snooze
Track Name: Easy Out
He said
Let's settle it all before the end of the year
I've gotten used to thinking you're expendable
Now I'm the culprit in the worst of your fears

I see my mistakes, it's only been half of a day
I'm finding my place, I swear that I'll change
And you can have it your way
If you choose to not stay so far away

Cut your ties in Pasadena
I left, you're right, but you're part of me now
Spend some time with this easy out
I know you'll take me cause I'm convenient

She said I'll hate you always
Then again maybe just for the night
I told you I'll never see you again
but I think that I might

I wasted most of my life getting close to you
I guess that's enough to give in, let you make your move
because if it wasn't for you you'd end up by yourself

Cut your ties in Pasadena
I left, you're right, but you're part of me now
Spend some time with this easy out
I know you'll take me cause I'm convenient

Patience is never an option
I get what I want because I want what I've settled with

Cut your ties in Pasadena
I left, you're right, but you're part of me now
Spend some time with this easy out
I know you'll take me cause I'm convenient
Track Name: Lilliea
Lilliea
You're not old enough to call her bluff
But this isn't love
It isn't love

Lilliea
You're beautiful and you don't deserve
This misery, this agony
Repeated injury

I've heard enough
And it's time for me to realize
That you're dead and gone
In only months

You're only three
And it's hard for you to fake a smile
But we're noticing
You're bout to break

When I witness this it's hard to pray
This baby should never go home afraid
When you grow up there will come a day
When you'll learn: love doesn't look this way

If I tell you this
It might blow your mind but I have to try
It will be up to you
To decide

How do I tear apart
This family with no remorse
This has to be the hardest choice
That I have ever made
Track Name: Fate
None of us have heard from you in weeks
I'm getting sick of all the seeking you out
It's time we finally heard you speak

There's nothing appealing
You're not sure life has a meaning
You got choked up on your breathing
When she found out you were cheating

Brother find your strength
It doesn't have to be this way
Find another fate
It doesn't have to be this way

Found you in your apartment on your face
You were lucky we weren't late
Your intentions were to asphyxiate

Have you lost your mind
I know I've lost mine
From what I hear
All the friends that we share, they were there
But you wouldn't see them
And you don't care

If it kills you, so be it
You're far too concerned with your feelings
It's not death that you're needing
But I can't stop you from leaving

Brother find your strength
It doesn't have to be this way
Find another fate
It doesn't have to be this way

We don't have to fight again
Can we forget the things we've said and state we're in
Alright if you regret your wrongs and hate your past
We just want to have the friend we once knew back
Track Name: Negative Tones (Acoustic)
My inspiration goes to waste again
I'm just somebody's poet

I've laid numerous foundations
I've seen you come around
Or is it just for now

We're colored every negative tone
Just another day that you find yourself sleeping in alone
And if it tears the skin from my bones
I'll be the first of all to make you feel at home

We've reclaimed just enough sleep
To reflect but not to dream
Much less commit them to our memories

God save us from when our skin's too tough
It's playing on repeat and I have heard enough

Lock the door inside the room where we're allowed to dream
If it's alright with you I'm letting off some steam
I just can't turn into something I don't wanna be
In a world where I can't dream you would hate me

We're colored every negative tone
Just another day that you find yourself sleeping in alone
And if it tears the skin from my bones
I'll be the first of all to make you feel at home

My intentions are headed south
I meant well right until now
Might regret my open mouth
But until then

My intentions are headed south
I meant well right until now
Might regret my open mouth
But until then I'll let it out

I'm not where I wanna be

And I can't breathe

In a world where I can't dream you would hate me
Track Name: "Being Nice" by Long Term
How can, how can I trust anything you ever say
After what you did you left me flowers on my grave
Did you, did you ever stop to think you did me wrong
I was waiting for a day you knew would never come

Did you think I'd forget you said forever?
I hate to admit but I've been better

After all the nights we spent
I gave you all I had to give
And now you're over it
I'm not over it

Nothing, nothing I could ever do would be enough
You told me its complicated, I said give me back my stuff
I feel, I feel like you left and hung me out to dry
I'm fed up with your distance and I'm done with being nice

Did you think I'd forget you said forever?
I hate to admit but I've been better

After all the nights we spent
I gave you all I had to give
And now you're over it
But I'm not over it

After all the words you said
They're still ringing in my head
Now you're over it
But I'm not over it

Did you think I'd forget you said forever?
I hate to admit but I've been better

After all the nights we spent
I gave you all I had to give
And now you're over it
I'm not over it
